Over the past seven years, Tailgate - Kickoff to a Cure, has raised more than $270,000 for medical research and programs working to find a cure for cystic fibrosis. By supporting Tailgate 2011, you can provide living, breathing, hope to the thousands of patients struggling with CF and ensure that promising CF medical research continues.
This year's CFF Tailgate game is against Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks and we all know how well the Ol' Ball Coach likes to play against the Gators. We're going to need everybody to join us at the Touchdown Terrace in the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium to cheer on the Florida Gators as they travel to Columbia to take on the Gamecocks.

In its seventh year, CFF Tailgate 2011 – Kickoff to a Cure will combine two of Gainesville’s favorite pastimes: food and football. Come join the rest of the Gator Nation as we tailgate in-style with an open bar and food from the best restaurants in town! The Gators will provide the entertainment as they travel to Columbia, SC to chomp down on the South Carolina Gamecocks while we watch via big screen TVs in the Touchdown Terrace at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
During the first half, many of the area’s favorite restaurants will entice football fans with an indoor tailgate of signature fare. While our team is strategizing during halftime, the fans will bid on fabulous live auction prizes. A silent auction of artwork, sports memorabilia and great getaways will run throughout the day. The day will wind down with marvelous desserts and, hopefully, a big Gator win!
